HR Assistant< Back

Salary: Competitive

Location: Little Blakenham (on the outskirts of Ipswich) & home based

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

IPRS Group, proud winner of the EADT Best Employer 2021 awards, have an excellent opportunity to join our friendly HR team. Due to rapid expansion, we are looking for a meticulous, driven and confident HR Assistant.

Our head office is located in Ipswich, Suffolk and the role will require working onsite as well as a home based offering.  

As HR Generalists, variety is the order of the day and the successful candidate is guaranteed to get involved in a wide range of specialist areas. Your main job duties include assisting with:

  • General enquiries into the HR Department, via email, telephone and in person, and where necessary referring to the HR Manager
  • Employment letters, including job offers, references, contracts of employment, contract addendums
  • Entering staff absence onto the HR database, ensuring we receive return to work forms and monitor absence stages, liaising with line managers and staff when necessary.
  • DBS checks on all new employees
  • Manage the onboarding and probationary process for new starters. Complete probationary period outcome letters
  • Plus so much more

The HR team at IPRS Group are responsible for over 250 employees nationwide.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly desirable employer.

This role will be based at our Head Office in Little Blakenham, however we are currently operating a hybrid working process.  You may be expected to travel to our sites across the UK.

It is desirable that you have a minimum of 2-years’ HR generalist experience.
