How it works?
IPRS Health Virtual CBT is a telephone and online based clinical technique developed on evidence-based principles to provide people with effective and reliable clinical guidance and web-based support materials to assist their recovery. This allows patients to receive the appropriate treatment quickly in the comfort of their own environment when convenient for them, without the need to visit a therapist.
Following a Mental Health Assessment with a CBT Therapist, if the patient's condition allows them to be treated virtually their first session is booked in and they are sent a link to download the IPRS Health app through which they are able to contact their CBT therapist. The treatment works the exact same way as with face-to-face CBT Treatment with the patient having regular sessions with their therapist completed through either:
The patient is provided with all the necessary tools to aid their recovery as they would if they were vising a therapist and they are able to get in touch with their therapist at any time using the IPRS Health app Instant Messaging function. The patient can even report back PHQ-9 and GAD-7 results back to their therapist by completing a quick questionnaire within the app to allow the therapist to monitor their condition.
