The IPRS Health end-to-end physiotherapy service is at the heart of our Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation service. We take a consultative approach to our end-to-end services to ensure that we are delivering the most suitable solution to your business. We have two primary pathways which can be bespoke to suit your needs.
In our triaged pathway, patients undergo a triage telephone call ahead of treatment to allow a Clinical Case Manager to get an understanding of their condition and explore what treatment options are available. This means, if appropriate, the patient can undergo treatment virtually, at a greater convenience to them and presenting cost savings to your business.
You can find out more about each part of this treatment pathway in the boxes below.
Treatment Only Pathway
Our Treatment Only pathway follows a more traditional route into treatment. Upon referral to IPRS Health, patients are referred to a conveniently located practice to begin a course of face to face treatment. We monitor the referral to ensure all treatment taking place is appropriate and that the patient's condition is improving.
You can find out more about our face to face treatment in the box below.
The IPRS Health Musculoskeletal Telephone Triage service is undertaken by employed Chartered Physiotherapists known as Clinical Case Managers. The telephone assessment is conducted to provide immediate reassurance to the patient by providing them with an initial understanding of their condition and to supply a first response / “first aid” to them.
Upon completion of the clinical triage call the IPRS Health Physiotherapist creates a clinical treatment plan for the patient and establishes a timeframe for recovery. This treatment plan is based on evidence-based medicine and would normally be one of, or a combination of the following:
IPRS Health Virtual Rehabilitation is a telephone and online based clinical technique developed on evidence-based principles to provide injured people with effective and reliable clinical guidance and web-based support materials to assist their recovery. This allows patients to receive the appropriate treatment for their injury very quickly in the comfort of their own environment when convenient for them, without the need to visit a clinic.
Key aspects of Virtual Rehabilitation:
