IPRS Health Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction

This statement has been published in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and relates to actions and activities taken between September 2024 and September 2025 detailing the steps that IPRS Health has taken and is continuing to take to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain and supports our culture and values.

Scope

This policy applies to all persons working for, or on behalf of IPRS Health, in any capacity. This includes but does not limit the policy applicability to, colleagues, agency workers, temporary staff, agents, contractors, external consultants, third-party representatives, and business partners.

Our commitment to the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015

IPRS Health is committed to the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the abolition of modern slavery which includes different types of exploitation such as forced labour, servitude, child labour and human trafficking. As an equal opportunities’ employer, IPRS is committed to creating and ensuring a non-discriminatory and respectful working environment for all colleagues.

Structure

IPRS Health is a leading Health care provider working within the corporate sector, focussing on the provision of high-quality musculoskeletal physiotherapy and mental health services.

In April 2022, IPRS Group was acquired by Investment portfolio management company Handl Group. IPRS head office is based in Ipswich but operates nationwide.

IPRS Health supply chain mainly comprises referral physiotherapy and treatment providers instructed to provide physiotherapy, mental health, and related services. Our supply chain also comprises suppliers, as expected, in the running of offices and healthcare and assessment clinics, including facilities services, recruitment agencies, training and equipment providers.

Risk Assessment

Whilst we are a UK-based organisation, we understand our obligations towards modern slavery and recognise the complexes that surround this illegal act globally, and the impact that this may have on healthcare practice.

Our colleagues are equipped to identify and deal with modern slavery through the training, and processes in place to protect service users. This is further controlled with colleagues having access to support, training, and an ability to raise concerns through our grievance policy.
IPRS Health are committed to acting in an ethical manner with integrity and transparency in all our business dealings. We are also committed to establishing effective systems and controls to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place both internally and throughout our supply chain.

IPRS Health does not directly engaged in any activities in countries which have been identified as being at high risk in relation to modern slavery or human trafficking. Through our controls we believe the same statement applies to our supply chain.

Policies

IPRS health are committed to continuing to raise awareness of modern slavery by reviewing and evaluating the measures and processes that we have implemented so far to ensure their effectiveness, which includes the following policies.

• Whistleblowing policy
• Code of conduct
• Social Value ad corporate responsibilities
• Equity, diversity and inclusion policy.
• Bullying and harassment policy
• Recruitment and selection policy
• Grievance policy.

Recruitment and Training

Our recruitment and people management processes are designed to ensure that all prospective colleagues are legally entitled to work in the UK and to safeguard colleagues from any abuse or coercion once in our employment.

We will continue to develop an awareness strategy for the Modern Slavery Act 2015 with the delivery of training which includes mandatory safeguarding and modern slavery training.

This statement was reviewed and approved by the IPRS Health Operations committee on 11 September 2025.
