Course Overview:

IPRS Health’s Mental Health Awareness for Line Managers Course consists of the following:

  • Understanding Mental Health definitions and statistics
  • Signs and symptoms of common mental health conditions including understanding stress, depression, anxiety, PTSD and OCD
  • Allows staff to feel confident about supporting the mental health of people with long term, more severe conditions
  • Managing mental health in the workplace and how to support colleagues with mental health difficulties. Establish clear signposting.
  • Suicide, self-harm and the myths surrounding them
  • Empower employees to champion mental health and positively role model
  • How to signpost colleagues for help and support with their mental health

Course Delivery & Capacity: 

IPRS Health’s Mental Health Awareness for Line Managers Course is delivered by a BABCP accredited CBT Therapist either face-to-face or virtually. Face-to-face training is conducted through a 3-hour session with virtual courses delivered through 2 90-minute sessions across 2 days, with learning taking place through a mix of presentations, group discussion and workshop activities. Up to 15 delegates can take part in each course
