Musculoskeletal First Aid

The Musculoskeletal (MSK) First Aid Kit is an essential training course aimed at Line Managers and Supervisors to gain an insight into the importance of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) at work. MSDs are the leading cause of long term absence and general days lost alongside mental health. Evidence also shows that factors such as poor job satisfaction, perceived lack of management support, work related stress along with heavy/repetitive physical workload significantly influence MSDs in the workplace. This course addresses these issues alongside practical tips to help managers and employers provide early and optimal support to their employees with MSDs.

Upon completion of the course they will develop improved knowledge and skills to support and manage their workforce who have an MSK issue. On top of this, they will gain skills to expedite a quicker return to work period for their staff, or even with the skills they obtain, they can support employees enough to allow them to remain in work.
